Nelson Park School

Nelson Park School is a Prep to Year 12 Special School located in Geelong. The much needed refurbishment of the school required a new full Canteen, Home Craft space, and an upgrade to learning environments while remaining sensitive to the needs of the students. 3iD’s innovative approach involved the creation of flexible, adaptable, learning environments, maximising existing indoor/outdoor relationships, and including multiple options such as ‘withdrawal’ and independent spaces. The result is a reinvigorated school that retains its original personality in its unique ‘street art’ walls, while incorporating exciting new facilities, and colourful graphic features provided by the 3iD team.
