Marcus Oldham College
Learning Centre

Stage Complete

Following the development of a strategic master plan, 3iD Architecture developed a proposal for a state-of-the-art flexible Learning Centre with a unique architectural presence.
The intent was this building would become a central learning hub that integrated the site and allow free accessible pedestrian movement throughout the campus.

The Campus rationalisation was over two stages, first a complete upgrade of all site services, followed by delivery of tailored learning environments to suit current and developing educational delivery modes specifically tailored for Agricultural college.
The facility features the development of advanced virtual presence technologies which placed the college at a minimum disadvantage on the Rapid shift to WFH (Work from Home) and LFH(Learn from home}.

Flexible meeting spaces and collaborative, formal, and informal learning spaces were developed to allow true diversity in curriculum delivery and student experience.

The building and landscaping allows spaces for refelection and socialisation in conjunction with diversified and acessable learning enviornments.
