Winchelsea Primary School

The refurbishment of Winchelsea Primary School incorporated alterations to the existing Heritage listed school Library on the site.

The design sensitively responds to the historic building whilst providing modern Educational functionality in terms of aesthetics, thermal comfort and consistent high quality lighting, resulting in a modern and reinvigorated environment.
The school’s vision was to decentralise learning resources, allowing a larger library space that could be utilised for STEM and a diverse range of learning activities and group sizes. This enables and encourages varied modes of Educational content delivery, subsequently contributing to better learning outcomes.
